It all started with a dream where I could reach my sister Sophia, who passed away in March 2021, in a place where time and space no longer have sense and light breaks in thousand pieces.
It was a way to exorcise grief, turn it into something different, pay homage to her through music, which is for me a friend that always helps me express myself and channel my deepest emotions.
This song that is so personal and important to me wants to reach the hearts of people who maybe have lost someone and don't know what to hold on to, but not only that.
Recorded in the form of a Live Session at Master MIx Studio in Munich, with André Schwager on piano and keyboards, Rene Haderer on double bass, Diego Riedemann on guitar, Michael Anetsberger on drums, Sophia Zoe on backing vocals and Olga Dudkova on backing vocals, Beyond The Moon is naked and raw, unfiltered.
